St. Paul Terrace is a new affordable housing community coming to South Berkeley through a partnership between Community Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) and St. Paul AME Church. Designed to strengthen housing stability and expand opportunity, the development will provide 50 affordable rental homes for families and individuals, along with supportive services, community-centered amenities, and dedicated space for the historic St. Paul AME Church.

The seven-story development reflects a shared commitment to investing in equitable housing and preserving community roots in Berkeley. In addition to creating high-quality affordable homes, the project is intended to support long-term neighborhood stability, foster community connection, and provide residents with access to resources that help individuals and families thrive.
